Working Definitions (that will certainly change)

Output= The direct result of an activity or process. A drawing could be an output of a particular process, communicating so form of content.

Artifacts= Byproducts of a process. This is a difficult thing to describe because it so embedded in outputs. However, artifacts are traces of a process, not so much as the end result. In some respects you look for the artifacts to find the artifacts to make findings and discoveries to move forward in a process.

Craft= The capacity to exert effort towards a particular intent. The negotiation between intent, clarity and ability (not to mention material ) creates artifacts.

Work= The process of demonstrating craft. Within work, two things are manifested- artifacts and outputs. Artifacts manifest themselves in the cognitive process, being present in the work. Outputs mark significant points of completion in the work.
